Icescapes of Antarctica - Photo Gallery

Words and Photos by: Michael Leggero

Antarctica is simply pure nature.

As a photographer traveling through Antarctica, I began to embrace the theory that sleep is for the weak. Every coastal part of the continent is breathtaking, and it is the only place left on the planet I have seen that isn’t visibly ruined by humans. The hours of golden light coupled with the sounds of cracking ice, dripping water, slow moving waves and subtle splashes - well, majestic is just not a big enough word to describe it.

Antarctica is simply pure nature. Hopefully this series of images allows you to experience just a tiny bit of the awe that I experienced there.
